第一次聽見這首歌是在春風化雨1996這部電影，片中的主角是一位音樂老師，他教導了許多的學生藉由音樂認識自我，然而自己的兒子卻天生失聰，讓他因此無法接受而疏遠了妻兒；終於在他能夠正視自己的錯誤之後，他學習手語，用其他方式讓孩子聽見自己的音樂，甚至唱了這首歌送給孩子．
